During times like these, it is also the responsibility of the civil societies to help everyone while world is suffering under the weight of the pandemic. Abhikalp Foundation has been at the forefront to fight the circumstances, and help those suffering. Some of these activities have included, amongst others, the provisioning of groceries, medicines, medical consultancy for those in home isolation, books for children, monetary donations.
To further the reach of our objective, a board meeting was called on the 8th of May in which a few important decisions were taken, which are as follows:
- Abhikalp Foundation will undertake the education responsibilities of orphaned children who lost their parents to Coronavirus.
- Children can be students of any class, from nursery to class XII.
- The Foundation will undertake to contact the relatives of the orphaned children to determine their socio-economic, and familial situation.
- To achieve the above, the board of Abhikalp Foundation will contribute funds. The members of the Foundation will also be approached for donations.
- The school fees of first 100 children will be taken care of by the Foundation. Post that, in case the number of children increase, their education will be funded through donations
- The drive will first start from Raipur, which will then be spread across Chhattisgarh so that no child is left devoid of education.
- We will be taking the help of journalists, and civil organizations as well to achieve all of the above. Further, if anyone from the public wants to donate, we will be happy to accept the donation
