Aakhar was inaugurated in January, 2021 with Chhattisgarh's first novelist Mr. Shivshankar Shukla; to connect the littérateurs to the works in Chhattisgarhi and other regional languages, under the joint aegis of Abhikalp Foundation, Prabha Khaitaan Foundation, under the sponsorship of Shree cement.. The journey has just begun, but if the first chapter is anything to go by, regional literature has the potential to be known globally.
